The CX8901X series are wide-input voltage switching buck DC-DC controllers supporting input voltages up to 120V.
The CX8901X features low standby power consumption, high efficiency, low ripple, and excellent bus voltage regulation and load regulation.
The CX8901X supports high-current output, capable of delivering over 10A.
The output voltage can be set by configuring the voltage divider resistors on the FB pin.
The CX8901X series employs fixed-frequency PWM control with a typical switching frequency of 100kHz. It enters skip-cycle mode during light loads to achieve high conversion efficiency. The CX8901X series integrates soft-start, over-temperature protection, output short-circuit protection, current limiting, and cycle-by-cycle current detection internally, enhancing system reliability. Packaged in ESOP-8L, the CX8901X series features minimal external components and is ideal for wide-input, high-power DC-DC buck applications.
