CX2977AAC is a multifunctional USB three-port controller that integrates USB Type-C, USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0/2.0, PPS, QC3.0/2.0Class B fast charging protocol, Huawei FCP/SCP fast charging protocol, Samsung AFC fast charging protocol, VOOC 2.0 fast charging protocol, BC1.2 DCP, and Apple device 2.4A charging specification. It is an AC-DC adapter, mobile power supply Provide a complete Type-C and Type-A three-port charging solution for devices such as car chargers.

CX2977AAC is specially integrated with LINK ™ Patented technology for internet communication, via LINK ™ Interconnection function

CX2977AAC can be easily and flexibly applied in charging schemes with multiple Type-C and Type-A ports.

The built-in TYPE-C protocol of CX2977AAC can support the insertion of TYPE-C devices into the automatic wake-up system, intelligently recognize the forward and reverse insertion of plugs, and achieve connection. The integrated TYPE-C PD3.0 protocol supports Bidirectional Markup Coding (BMC), integrates hardware's physical layer protocol and protocol engine, and does not require software to participate in encoding and decoding.

When one of the Type-C and Type-A ports is connected to the device, both Type-C and Type-A ports can achieve independent fast charging function. When both Type-C and Type-A are connected to the device, the output voltage will be reduced to 5V to power the device. The Type-C port PD only broadcasts 5V/3A, retaining BC1.2 and Apple 2.4A, while the Type-A port only retains Apple 2.4A. Specifically, when the Type-A port is continuously connected to the Apple charging cable but not connected to the Apple phone, the Type-C port still has a fast charging function. When used as a charger, the charging cable is often connected to the charger.

CX2977AAC perfectly solves the fast charging problem when Type-A and Type-C ports are connected to charging cable applications. In addition, the Type-A port has a low cutoff current threshold of 10mA when fully charged, which can support small current charging of intelligent wearable devices.

CX2977AAC achieves dynamic voltage regulation through a Sink/Source current source connected to the feedback pins of AC-DC or DC-DC. It has a soft start/voltage regulation function during both startup and voltage regulation processes, achieving smooth voltage transition.

CX2977AAC is internally integrated with CC loop control, which can effectively control the total current and alleviate front-end power pressure under shared power supply

CX2977AAC supports secondary burning and can be upgraded online.
