CX2702AC is a multifunctional USB Type-C and USB Type-A dual port controller that integrates USB Type-C, USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.1, PPS, QC3.0+/3.0/2.0 fast charging protocol, Huawei FCP/SCP/HVSCP fast charging protocol, Samsung AFC fast charging protocol, VOOC fast charging protocol, MTK PE fast charging protocol, BC1.2 DCP, and Apple device 2.4A charging specification.

CX2702AC specifically integrates LINK ™ Patented technology for internet communication, via LINK ™  Interconnection function

CX2702AC can be easily and flexibly applied in charging schemes with multiple Type-C and Type-A ports.

CX2702AC adopts an external NMOS driver, with an output voltage range of 3.3V to 21V, and can provide a maximum output power of 100W. It can automatically adjust the output voltage and current according to the recognized fast charging protocol.

The output of CX2702AC has CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is less than the set value, it outputs in CV mode and the output voltage is constant; When the output current is greater than the set value, output CC mode and output voltage decrease.

CX2702AC has a line compensation function, which increases the output voltage as the output current increases to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the internal resistance of the charging cable.

When one of the Type-C and Type-A ports is connected to the device, both can achieve independent fast charging function. When both Type-C and Type-A ports are connected to the device, CX2702AC will reduce the output voltage to 5V to supply power to the device. When the Type-C port or Type-A port is continuously connected to the Apple charging cable but not connected to the Apple phone, the Type-C port still has a fast charging function. As a charger application, the charging cable will often be connected to the charger.

CX2702AC perfectly solves the fast charging problem when Type-C and Type-A ports are connected to charging cable applications. In addition, the Type-A port is perfectly compatible with small current charging of intelligent wearable devices.

CX2702AC has multiple protection functions: input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit burping protection.

CX2702AC supports secondary burning and can be upgraded online.

CX2702AC is packaged in QFN24 (4 * 4).
