Summary:

CX7538D is a high-performance synchronous rectification control circuit for the secondary side of a switching power supply. In low voltage and high current switching power supply applications, it easily meets the 6-level energy efficiency and is an ideal solution for ultra-low conduction voltage drop rectifier devices.

CX7538D supports switch mode power supply applications such as CCM/QR/DCM, and its extremely low conduction voltage drop results in much lower losses than the conduction losses of Schottky diodes, greatly improving the conversion efficiency of the system and significantly reducing the temperature of rectifier devices.

CX7538D chip has a built-in NMOSFET synchronous rectifier switch with a withstand voltage of 100 V, and has extremely low internal resistance. The typical RdsON is as low as 10m Ω, which can provide system output up to 3A applications; The IC determines the switching state of integrated MOSFETs by detecting their source and drain voltages, and is compatible with flyback converters in continuous mode, discontinuous, and quasi resonant operating modes.
