Overview

The CX8834 is a precise constant-voltage and constant-current step-down DC-DC converter that supports an input voltage range of 5 V to 30 V DC and an adjustable output voltage range of 3 V to 30 V, with a 100% duty cycle.

The CX8834 integrates a 70 mΩ high-side PMOS and a 30 mΩ low-side NMOS, enabling a continuous output current of 2.4 A.

The CX8834 offers high-performance load and input voltage response, while its precise constant-voltage and constant-current control loops ensure minimal load regulation and line regulation.

The CX8834 requires no external compensation and relies on its built-in stabilization loop to achieve constant-current and constant-voltage control, while also featuring cable voltage drop compensation.

The CX8834 is a highly reliable, stable, and high-performance constant-voltage, constant-current step-down DC-DC converter with a simplified application design.
