Overview:
CX715 is a highly integrated current mode PWM controller, optimized for high performance, low standby power consumption adapter solutions.The circuit is also compatible with cost-effective offline flyback converter applications .
At full loading, the IC operates in fixed frequency mode.
When the loading goes low, it operates in Green mode with valley switching for high power conversion efficiency can be achieved in the whole loading range.
CX715 offers complete protection coverage, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), overload protection (OLP), ove temperature protection (OTP), output short current protection (SCP), output and VDD over voltage protection (OVP & VDD OVP). Excellent EMI performance is achieved . The tone energy below 22 kHz is minimized to avoid audio noise during operation.
CX715 is offered in a SOT23-6 package.

It easily meets the Level VI energy efficiency requirements in low-voltage, high-current switch-mode power <br/><br/>supply applications, making it an ideal solution for ultra-low forward voltage drop rectification devices. It also supports <br/><br/>various operating modes of switch-mode power supplies, such as CCM, QR , and DCM .
