The main control chip of ANKER 20W charger switching power supply adopts CXW CX7528, which is a current-mode PWM control chip with built-in high-voltage power MOSFET, and is applied to the power supply scheme with power below 25W.
CX7528 works at a fixed switching frequency in PWM mode, which is precisely set internally. When there is no load or light load, the working frequency is adjusted by the chip. The chip can work in green mode, so as to reduce the loss during light load and improve the working efficiency of the whole machine. Only a small current is needed during starting and working, and a large resistor can be used in the starting circuit to further reduce the power consumption during standby.
The chip has a built-in slope compensation circuit, which can avoid subharmonic oscillation and improve the stability of the system when the circuit works at a large duty cycle. A Leading-edge blanking time is built in to eliminate the influence of diode reverse recovery current in the buffer network on the circuit.
The secondary synchronous rectifier chip adopts CXW CX7538B, which is a high-performance synchronous rectifier chip on the secondary side of switching power supply. It can easily meet the six-level energy efficiency in switching power supply and is an ideal alternative to Schottky. CX7538B supports switching frequency up to 150KHz,built-in 11mΩ NMOS transistor with low conductance. The heating is much lower than Schottky diode, which greatly reduces the temperature and improves the conversion efficiency.
CXW CX7538B supports CCM/QR/DCM mode of switching power supply, which is very suitable for 3.3~12V fast charging synchronous rectification,built-in 60V withstand voltage and 11 mω Synchronous rectifier transistor,and can provide 3A output. Compared with Schottky, the efficiency is improved by up to 6%, the working voltage range is wide, and the peripheral components are very simple.
