AIGO 2A1C 18W fast charging socket adopts chip scheme CX7509C+CX7538B

The AIGO 2A1C 18W intelligent fast charging socket adopts the CX7509C+CX7538B high integration and supports a 20W PD fast charging solution.


AIGO extension cable socket, a fast charging socket equipped with a USB fast charging module on a regular socket, can simultaneously power 6 devices (this socket is equipped with a main switch, three 3+2 new national standard sockets, and three USB interfaces), making it a highly praised intelligent socket in the current socket industry. Its switching power supply adopts a cost-effective and highly integrated solution of CX7509C+CX7538B. The first level controller is equipped with MOS transistors, which will have more advantages compared to traditional solutions in product design, accelerated launch, and cost budgeting.


AIGO is a USB fast charging extension cable socket that comes with three 3+2 connectors and three 2A1C USB ports. Each USB port supports 18W fast charging, which can meet the daily fast charging needs of both old and new phones.

Using ChargerLAB POWER-Z KT002, it was tested that the USB-A port supports Apple 2.4A, Samsung 5V2A DCP protocols, as well as QC2.0/3.0, AFC, and FCP fast charging protocols.

The USB-C port supports Apple 2.4A, Samsung 5V2A, DCP protocols, as well as QC2.0/3.0, AFC, and PD3.0 fast charging protocols.

The interface also has three fixed voltage ranges of 5V3A, 9V2A, and 12V1.5A.


 

The entire charger adopts a high-frequency QR switching power supply with a wide range of output, and two protocol ICs control the output voltage of the three ports.


The main control chip of the switching power supply adopts CX7509C, which integrates a PWM controller and 650V NMOS internally. It is suitable for the 20W solution in closed environments. The CX7509C supports automatic adjustment of working frequency, reducing losses and improving the conversion efficiency of the entire machine. The CX7509C startup circuit has been optimized to reduce standby power consumption.


At the same time, it adopts frequency jitter technology to prevent audio noise, supports various comprehensive protections, supports cycle by cycle overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overheating protection, and also supports power supply overvoltage protection, maximizing reliability.


This solution is mainly applied to popular 20W fast charging, and has been adopted by dozens of products such as the Paifan 20W PD fast charging small lantern travel charger, the First Guard 20W fast charging small ice particle charger, Philips new mini 20W PD fast charging charger, and Yubo 20W 1A1C fast charging charger.


The secondary synchronous rectifier chip adopts the CX7538B, which is a high-performance switching power supply secondary synchronous rectifier chip that easily meets 6-level energy efficiency in switching power supplies. It is an ideal replacement solution for Schottky. The CX7538B supports a maximum switching frequency of 150KHz and is equipped with an 11m Ω low conductivity NMOS transistor, which generates much lower heat than Schottky diodes, significantly reducing temperature and improving conversion efficiency.


The CX7538B supports the CCM/QR/DCM mode of switch mode power supply, which is very suitable for 3.3-12V fast charging synchronous rectification. It is equipped with a built-in 60V, 11m Ω synchronous rectification tube, which can provide 3A output, with a maximum improvement of 6% compared to Schottky efficiency. The working voltage range is wide, and the peripheral components are very simple. In wide voltage applications, only one capacitor is needed on the periphery.


The AIGO extension cable patch panel is equipped with three 3+2 new national standard sockets and three USB ports. The maximum carrying power is 2500W, which meets the needs of most daily work from home. Three USB interfaces support a maximum of 18W fast charging output and support QC, AFC, and PD fast charging protocols.
