The CX8831C supports multiple fast charging protocols, including USB Type-C and PD protocols, Qualcomm QC2.0/3.0, Huawei FCP/SCP, Samsung AFC, USB BC1.2 DCP, and Apple 2.4A charging specifications.

The CX8831C supports a wide input voltage range of 6.6V to 36V. The output voltage range is 3.6V to 12V, and it is adjusted according to the charging protocol to provide a maximum output power of 18W. The PDO configuration of CX8831C is 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A.

The CX8831C adopts PWM current mode control mode, which can quickly respond to load transient changes. The switching frequency of CX8831C is 150KHz, and its unique dithering technology can reduce EMI and help customers pass certification.

The output of CX8831C has constant voltage and current characteristics. When the output current is less than the limit value, it is in constant voltage mode; When the output current reaches the limit value, it is in constant current mode.
