18W Dual Circuit QC3.0 Car Charging Scheme

This is a dual C port 18W QC car charging solution that supports multiple fast charging protocols and has three fixed voltage ranges of 5V/2A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A. The single port output power is 18W, and the maximum output power of the dual ports is 36W, which can meet the daily charging needs of most electronic products.

The car charging dual C supports 3A output current, and both interfaces have 3A output and 18W output power, which can achieve fast charging for mobile phones and provide users with a fast charging experience.

The vehicle charging input of this scheme adopts the CX8853 synchronous rectification buck chip, which is a buck DC-DC converter with an input withstand voltage of 40V and can achieve precise constant voltage and constant current. The chip is equipped with 20m Ω High side N MOS and 20m Ω Low side NMOS, which can support 4A continuous output current and adjustable output voltage, with a maximum support of 95% duty cycle

The CX8853 has high-performance load response and input voltage response capabilities, while precise constant voltage and constant current control loops achieve minimal load and linear adjustment rates

The CX8853 does not require external compensation and can rely on its built-in stable loop to achieve constant current and voltage control, while also having cable voltage drop compensation function


The protocol chip adopts CX601, which is a USB port fast charging protocol control chip. Intelligent recognition of multiple fast charging protocols for fast charging of mobile phones and other powered devices. CX601 can accurately adjust the VBUS output voltage based on the voltage request sent by the receiving device, thereby achieving fast charging.

The car charging dual C port 18W QC car charging fast charging scheme adopts two independent voltage reduction output designs, using the same voltage reduction scheme. Both use CX883 for DC-DC voltage reduction, and the CX601 protocol chip to achieve QC3.0 fast charging function. The demo design is quite simple, making it a highly cost-effective dual way car charging scheme on the market.
