Summary:

CX8830C is an integrated synchronous switch step-down converter that supports USB Type-C and USB PowerDelivery 2.0/3.1 fast charging protocols for constant voltage/constant current step-down converters.

CX8830C has a built-in 50m Ω High side PMOS and 30m Ω Low side NMOS, supporting continuous 3A current output and 100% duty cycle.

CX8830C has high-performance load response and input voltage response capabilities, while the precise constant voltage control loop achieves minimal load adjustment rate and linear adjustment rate.

CX8830C does not require external compensation and can rely on its built-in stable loop to achieve constant current and voltage control, while also having cable voltage drop compensation function.

CX8830C is a stable and reliable constant voltage and step-down DC-DC converter with minimal application, excellent performance, and reliability.

CX8830C provides 5 sets of commonly used PDO combinations within 27W for selection. Different PDO combinations can be selected by setting different resistors during application, improving the universality of the chip.
