The USB-A port uses the CX8830, which is a multifunctional fully integrated DC-DC buck chip that supports the 18W output fast charging protocol and is compatible with multiple fast charging protocols such as QC2.0/3.0, Huawei FCP fast charging, AFC Samsung fast charging, etc.

The Type-C port adopts a combination of CX8825+CX2919C to form a high-performance 20W PD fast charging solution.

CX8825 is a step-down DC-DC converter with an input withstand voltage of up to 36V and the ability to achieve precise constant voltage and current

CX8825 has a built-in 50m Ω High side PMOS and 30m Ω Low side NMOS, which can support 3A continuous output current and adjustable output voltage, with a maximum support of 100% duty cycle

CX8825 has high-performance load response and input voltage response capabilities, while precise constant voltage and constant current control loops achieve minimal load and linear adjustment rates

CX8825 does not require external compensation and can rely on its built-in stable loop to achieve constant current and voltage control, while also having cable voltage drop compensation function

CX2919C protocol chip supports fast charging protocols such as QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, FCP, SCP, HVSCP, PD, and PPS. It internally integrates a 10m Ω VBUS channel power switch transistor and a 10m Ω current detection resistor, supporting comprehensive protection functions, saving the number of peripheral components, simplifying circuits, and reducing costs. The CX2919C is packaged in ESOP8.
