Summary:
CX2902 chip is selectively compatible with the most suitable protocol to meet the needs of mobile phones.
The D ± of the USB Type-A port is connected to the chip. After the phone is inserted into the USB Type-A port, according to the protocol, the phone and chip will begin to recognize each other. Once the recognition is successful, the chip can respond to the phone's request. According to the request information of the phone, the chip controls the external DC/DC or AC/DC power system through the FB pin, and outputs appropriate voltage to power the phone.
In some applications, the external controller can turn off the fast charging output function of the chip through the FUNC pin, at which point the chip only outputs 5V voltage. The fast charging function of the chip can be turned off and on at any time without the need to restart the chip. The static current of the chip is less than 96uA, and the working current depends on the protocol, ranging from 80uA to 136uA. It is suitable for low-power applications, such as mobile power supplies.
